The increase in the ownership of modern smartphones has led to an
explosion in various accessories becoming available that offer users a
variety of uses. These range from simple cases to protect our treasured
devices to other products that can be connected to the smartphone
wirelessly, and today we have the Scosche boomBottle Speaker and RH1060
Bluetooth Headphones for you.
Over on Ubergizmo there is
the new Scosche boomBottle that allows keen cyclists to have their music
while on the go, and wirelessly listen to their music stored inside
their mobile device. It functions as an omnidirectional outdoor speaker
that is protected by a waterproof shell, and will fit most water bottle
cages that are available on the market as well.
The device offers two 40mm speakers that promise to deliver a rich
deep sound, and there is also an integrated passive subwoofer with a
ported enclosure to improve bass performance of the product. The company
behind the product is promising the built in rechargeable battery will
provide up to ten hours of continuous use from a full charge.
It can function within a range of 33 feet and as its IP4X rated will
withstand most of what Mother Nature can throw at it. On the top a flap
opens up to reveal all the charging and audio ports, but the only
downside to this product is the fact you will have to find somewhere
else to store your drink as the boomBottle doesn’t store liquids.
Meanwhile the same company has announced the Scosche RH1060 Reference
Grade Bluetooth headphones, which becomes the latest model added to
their range of award winning headphones. These also use 40mm drivers
that are manufactured from neodymium magnets, as well as use precision
wound copper voice coiling, which promises to provide accurate music
playback.
Also working on a range of 33 feet users will also be able to adjust
the volume, play and pause, and change tracks from the controls found on
the right speaker. There is also an integrated microphone for all those
hands free calls. At the time of writing there is no information
regarding pricing or availability for the two products.
