carrier AT&T we now have news of the 7-inch Lenovo IdeaTab A2107 and
the prices of the tablet.
The carrier has recently announced the availability of the device as
well as how much it will cost those that are thinking of picking one up.
It is promised to be designed for both the consumer and business users,
and provides them with a low cost and portable tablet PC.
For a limited time the carrier is offering the device with a $100
discount on condition of a new two year contract being agreed to, and
means you can currently pick one up for only $99.99. For your money you
get a 7-inch device that will come running the Android 4.0 Ice Cream
Sandwich operating system straight from the box.
Under the hood is a single core MediaTek 6575 1GHz Cortex A9
processor powering the 1024×600 resolution display. Other features
include 512MB of RAM, 8GB of on board storage that is expandable up to a
further 32GB via the microSD card port, three megapixel rear camera,
and around the front you will find a VGA unit. The device is
manufactured with an internal magnesium roll cage for better durability,
while the soft matte back cover provides owners with a better grip when
holding the device.
There is also a 3,550 mAh battery unit, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0,
GPS, and 3G connectivity, and if you are thinking of taking up
AT&T’s offer you have until February 14th, while the off contract
price is set at $199.99.
Those interested can add the device to a new or existing AT&T
Mobile Share plan that cost $10 each month, or there is the option of
one of the carrier’s DataConnect plans that offer between 1GB and 20GB
of data, and Mobile Share plans allow the use of up to ten different
devices.
